Public service employee detected drink driving

A Victoria Police public service employee has been detected drink driving in Ferntree Gully.

The 36-year-old, from the Corporate and Regulatory Services portfolio, entered a booze bus site on Burwood Highway on Saturday 28 June about 7.25pm.

A preliminary breath test indicated a positive result before an evidentiary breath test returned an alleged reading of .107.

The woman’s vehicle was impounded for 30 days, and her licence immediately suspended for ten months.

Professional Standards Command have been notified per standard procedure.
