Cuppa with a cop at Belgrave

Belgrave locals are invited to share a cuppa and a chat with local police at the launch of ‘Coffee with a Cop’, a new initiative aimed at strengthening community ties.

Set to take place on Tuesday, 22 July at Belgrave Bakery from 10am to 12 noon, the relaxed catch-up is all about breaking down barriers, having open conversations, and building trust between police and the community.

Belgrave Police said the idea is to improve community confidence, boost feelings of safety, and create a space where people can connect with officers outside of official duties – no agendas, no pressure, just coffee and conversation.
