Belgrave hosts safe plate day

Belgrave Police and Belgrave CFA hosted a safe plate event on Sunday, 31 August 2025, from 11am to 2pm at Belgrave CFA, Bayview Rd.

Officers assisted residents in replacing their number plate screws with anti-theft screws to prevent criminals using stolen plates for serious offences like petrol theft and burglary.

The CFA also ran a fundraiser barbecue during the event.

Securing your plates helps avoid the cost and hassle of replacement while supporting local emergency services.
