Two free and vital bushfire prep sessions run by the local CFA in the Dandenong Ranges will go ahead this week.
The Sassafras-Ferny Creek Fire Brigade CFA will host the timely free and informative fire safety essential sessions for the community on Thursday 15 January at 7.30ppm and Saturday 17 January at 2pm.
Covering local fire risk, what to expect from fire, how to prepare for fire, and the fire safety danger ratings, the sessions are great for both new and long-time residents of the Hills to connect with their CFA on how to stay informed ahead of the summer season.
The sessions are free and will run at the brigade’s station at 21 Clarkmont Rd, Sassafras.
