Police have released the images of two men who may be able to assist them with their inquiries as they continue to investigate an assault that occurred in Boronia in 2022.
Police said it is alleged that four men approached a man at a licensed venue on Boronia at around 10pm on 16 September 2022, where an altercation occurred between the men and the 20-year-old man who was struck in the head with a chair.
The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 20-year-old Boronia man and a 21-year-old Wantirna South man were interviewed earlier in May and released “pending further enquiries.”
Police investigators are still seeking to identify two men.
