THERE will be a barbecue, demonstrations, colouring in competitions, badge making, raffles and celebrations.
Captain Koala will even make an appearance.
Montrose Fire Brigade will hold their Open Day on Sunday 12 October, giving locals the chance to see what makes the fire station tick as well as get their hands on some timely information in the lead up to the fire season.
Brigade secretary Sally Conner said that the Open Day was a chance to show the community what their local firefighters did.
“It also helps us get key messages out to the community,” she said.
“And help them feel connected to what we do.”
The day will start at 9.30am and finish at 2pm.
