Proposed actions include transforming untapped spaces into community sapces, turning Knox into the picnic capital of Melbourne, programming a calener of events for individual villages and opening up car parks for community events.

Businesses will be able to attend two online feedback sessions on Tuesday 22 February. One is being held from 12pm to 1pm and the other from 7pm to 8pm.

“During the sessions, you will have the opportunity to share your thoughts on initiatives, such as support to upgrade shop fronts and building facades, and help to adapt to the ban on single use plastics requirements starting in February 2023.” council said.

“Many of these initiatives need the support from our business community to succeed. We are keen to understand if businesses are interested in getting involved in these initiatives to energise our retail centres.”
