Remember to set the clock forward an hour this weekend

Daylight saving time begins at 2am on Sunday 2 October. Picture: UNSPLASH.

Make sure your clocks are set forward one hour ahead of daylight savings kicking off on the weekend.

That time of year will once again return on Sunday 2 October at 2am, giving us some extra afternoon light.

While the whole country doesn’t observe daylight saving time, Victoria, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and South Australia will change their clocks this Sunday.

Daylight saving time will end on the first Sunday of April next year, making it Sunday 2 April.
