You can grab a golden ticket and hop on Puffing Billy Railway The Polar Express™ experience from Friday 9 December until Friday 16 December, with a conductor ready on the platform to punch your one-and-only golden ticket as you prepare for a two-hour round trip from Puffing Billy Railway’s Lakeside Station to Menzies Creek.
Waiting at Menzies Creek will be acrobatic song and dance performances from Hobo the cynical Christmas Ghost, the Hot Chocolate Dancers and some of Santa’s very own little helpers.
On a 60-minute stopover, passengers can enjoy carols and the chance to explore the historic Menzies Creek Museum.
Afterwards, the train will roll back into Lakeside with the sound of jingling sleigh bells and one final theatrical performance before passengers collect their iced chocolate and delicious Christmas cookie and meet Santa Claus himself inside the Lakeside Visitor Centre’s North Pole.
Guests dressed in the best pair of pyjamas can make the most of the activities available in the visitor centre, including:
-A special meet and greet with Santa, receiving a shiny sleigh bell from Santa’s sleigh, just like in the film and storybook.
-Unique photo opportunities with Santa and his little helpers at the North Pole
-Unique photo opportunities at Menzies Creek Museum with all the Polar Express™ characters

There will be two Polar Express™ services per day, at 10am and 1.30pm, with seats available for departure beginning 9 December.
