Community members in Cardinia Shire are invited to provide feedback on exterior façade options for new public toilets at Alma Treloar Reserve in Cockatoo.

Cardinia Shire Council plans to build new amenities that will include automated toilets with two gender neutral accessible cubicles next to the Scout Hall.

Cardinia Shire’s Ranges Ward Councillor, Cr Jeff Springfield, said the façade options have been selected to complement the surrounding environment.

“The new toilets will be a great facility for locals and visitors alike. The project will bring the toilets up to current standards, and the new location of the toilets next to the Scout Hall accommodates the space required for the layout and functionality of the amenities and enables a path between the accessible parking bay and the new toilets,” Cr Springfield said.

“We’re seeking community feedback on exterior facade options for the toilet building before the external design is finalised and construction starts.”

The works will be delivered by  the council and funded by the Victorian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.

Feedback closes 5pm on Friday 17 February 2023.
