Men arrested after series of Emerald burglaries

Detectives from Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit arrested two males on Wednesday 8 November in relation to an alleged series of commercial burglaries committed at Emerald on Sunday 29 October.

The Southern Metro Drone Unit played an integral role in assisting detectives with the arrest.

A search warrant was executed at an address in Dandenong where a large amount of stolen property was recovered from burglaries that appear to have occurred in Emerald, Rowville, Chadstone, Blackburn South and several other areas.

A stolen vehicle was also recovered and returned to the owner.

Two males from Dandenong, aged 37 and 42, were arrested and have been remanded into custody.

They will appear in court later this month.
