Rowville woman dies in collision

A pedestrian has died in hospital following a collision in Rowville last week.

It is believed the pedestrian was struck by a car at the intersection of Dandelion Drive and Silkwood Way about 9am on 18 January.

Police said the pedestrian, a 69-year-old Rowville woman, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

“The driver, a 79-year-old man from Rowville, stopped at the scene,” police said.

“The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.”
